Abstract submission

Researchers can participate in the 2nd HCIAS International Symposium with a presentation or, in the case of doctoral candidates in particular, a poster. The call for abstracts is open until August 17, 2025.

Guidelines for the submission of abstracts for a presentation or a poster

• To submit your abstract please complete the submission form and return it to hcias-symposium@uni-heidelberg.de by August 17, 2025. Participants whose submissions have been accepted will be notified by September 1, 2025.
• Abstracts should not exceed 500 words, including any bibliographic references.
• Any bibliographic references should be in APA format.
• The proposal should summarize your presentation or poster, including the theoretical framework, objectives, rationale, methodology, and, if applicable, results.
• Bear in mind that the final presentation should last no more than 15 minutes.

Registration

Participation in the 2nd HCIAS International Symposium requires prior registration. Registration will start after the notification of acceptance of proposals and will be open until October 19, 2025. Spaces are limited. More information about registration to follow.
